Belthangady, September 17, 2026: The First and Third Year BBA students of Government First Grade College, Belthangady, visited Matrushree Industrial Park as part of an industrial visit aimed at providing practical exposure to garment manufacturing and its production processes.
The visit was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Kushalappa S. and Dr. Divya Prabhu P., Assistant Professors in the Department of Management, and Prof. Rashmi H., Head of the Department of Management.
During the visit, students observed the manufacturing and stitching of different types of uniforms and shirts. They learned about the various stages of garment production, including cutting, stitching, finishing and quality checking. The students also gained insights into the industrial work environment and understood how different activities are coordinated to ensure smooth production.
The industrial visit offered a valuable learning experience by helping students connect their classroom knowledge with real-world industrial practices. It enhanced their understanding of production processes, quality control, employee roles and management practices in the garment industry.
