Mangaluru, April 14, 2026: PRERANA #2 – Summer Camp, a vibrant and engaging community outreach initiative, was successfully organized at DKZP Higher Primary School, Balthila.
The camp, conducted for children aged 6 to 13 years, aimed at fostering overall development through a blend of fun-filled and educational activities. With the theme “Play, Perform, Shine,” the programme created an energetic platform for children to explore their talents, build confidence, and enhance their social skills.
The summer camp featured a variety of activities including games and fun competitions, cultural performances such as dance and singing, creative sessions involving drawing and crafts, and team-building exercises. These activities encouraged active participation, creativity, and collaboration among the children, making the learning process enjoyable and meaningful.
The initiative was organized by Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) students—Dhanuja and Geetha of II BSW, along with Sajani and Diya of I BSW—as part of their commitment to community engagement and child development. Their efforts ensured a well-structured and lively camp that catered to the interests and developmental needs of young participants.
The children enthusiastically participated in all the sessions, showcasing their talents and enjoying the opportunity to learn new skills in a supportive environment. The camp not only provided a refreshing break during the holidays but also instilled values of teamwork, creativity, and self-expression.
