Mangaluru: The Students’ Union Day and Students’ Council Inauguration for the academic year 2026–27 was held on 11th July 2026 at Geetha S.M. Shetty Hall, Sri Ramakrishna Pre-University College, Mangaluru.
The programme was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Geethananda Pai, Tax Consultant, who encouraged students to develop leadership qualities, discipline, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The function was presided over by Mr. M. Karunakara Shetty, General Secretary of BANM Sangha (R), Mangaluru, who inspired the newly elected student leaders to work with dedication and unity for the welfare of the college.
The event was conducted in the presence of Principal Mrs. Yashoda U. Shetty, members of the management, faculty, staff, and students. The inauguration marked the beginning of a new chapter of student leadership and active participation in the college’s academic and cultural activities.
