Bajpe, October 1, 2026: Bethany English Medium School, Bajpe, organised its Sports Day for students from Kindergarten to Grade 4 on the school ground. The programme aimed to encourage physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy competition among young learners.
Sr. Juliana Monis, Correspondent of the school, was the chief guest, while Headmistress Sr. Veena D’Souza was present for the occasion. The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their sporting abilities and participate enthusiastically in various outdoor activities.
The Kindergarten section participated in fun-filled events such as the running race, rabbit race and frog race. The primary section competed in the 50-metre race, 75-metre race and ball-throwing event. The activities created an atmosphere of excitement and encouraged students to participate with enthusiasm and a spirit of fair play.
The Sports Day highlighted the importance of sports in the overall development of children. The programme encouraged students to build healthy minds, develop confidence and embrace the values of discipline, teamwork and perseverance.
