Kinnikambala: The Skill Club, an initiative of Swastika National Business School, was inaugurated at Rosa Mystica P.U. College, Kinnikambla, Mangaluru, on 25 June 2026 with the objective of empowering students through life skills, leadership development, communication, personality enhancement, and career readiness.
The programme commenced with a prayer, followed by a warm welcome to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and guests. The Skill Club was formally inaugurated by Sr. Dr. Mariola BS, Educational Coordinator, Mangalore Province, marking the beginning of a collaborative initiative dedicated to the holistic development of students.
Dr. Raghavendra Holla N., Chairman of Swastika National Business School, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. In his address, he emphasized the importance of developing practical skills alongside academic excellence. He encouraged students to actively participate in the Skill Club’s activities to strengthen their communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking, and professional ethics, enabling them to face future challenges with confidence.
The programme was graced by the presence of Sr. Leena Pereira, Superior of Rosa Mystica Convent, Sr. Roselyta BS, Correspondent of Rosa Mystica PU College, and Mr. Deepak Kotian, Vice President of the Parent-Teacher Association. Their presence added significance to the occasion and reflected the collective commitment towards promoting skill-based education.
The objectives and vision of the Skill Club were presented by Mrs. Sangeetha Madhuraj, Coordinator of Skill Club, Swastika National Business School, and Mr. Avil Renil Dsilva, Coordinator of Skill Club, Rosa Mystica PU College. They highlighted the various activities planned for the academic year, including programmes on communication skills, leadership, personality development, teamwork, and career guidance.
The programme was attended by Dr. Malini N. Hebbar, Principal of Swastika National Business School, Sr. Anita Lydia BS, Principal of Rosa Mystica PU College, faculty members, staff, and students, whose enthusiastic participation contributed to the success of the event.
