Mulki, 11 July 2026: Madeleine Pre-University College, Karnad, Mulki, in association with Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, successfully inaugurated the Skill Club – Empowering Students for Life on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
The programme commenced with a prayer by the students, followed by a warm welcome address. The Skill Club was formally inaugurated through the unveiling of the Skill Club banner by Sr. Arun Savio, Correspondent of Madeleine PU College and Bethany High School, marking the launch of the initiative aimed at equipping students with essential life skills beyond the classroom.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, delivered the keynote address on the importance of developing communication, leadership, critical thinking, teamwork, and professional ethics among students. He encouraged students to actively participate in Skill Club activities to enhance their personal and professional growth and prepare themselves for future opportunities.
Sr. Meena B. S., Superior of Madeleine Convent, Mulki, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. In her address, she appreciated the initiative and motivated students to cultivate discipline, confidence, and a lifelong learning attitude.
The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Preethi Shettigar, Coordinator of the Skill Club at Swastika National Business School, who highlighted the objectives of the club and the range of activities planned to nurture students’ holistic development throughout the academic year.
Faculty members, staff, and students of Madeleine PU College participated enthusiastically in the inaugural ceremony, making the event a meaningful beginning to a platform dedicated to empowering young minds with practical skills for life.
