Mangaluru, August 25, 2026: Swastika UdyamShala, the Entrepreneurship Club of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, organized an insightful session on “Logistics for Business” as part of its weekly UdyamShala series on August 25, 2026, at Swastika Waterfront.
The session aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of logistics and supply chain management and its crucial role in the smooth functioning and growth of a business. The programme highlighted how efficient movement of goods, inventory management, procurement, transportation, and coordination contribute to business efficiency and customer satisfaction.
The session was led by Mr. Darryl Steven D’Souza, Senior Supply Chain & Operations Specialist, who shared valuable insights from his professional experience. He explained the fundamentals of business logistics and helped students understand how effective supply chain strategies can create value, reduce operational challenges, and improve overall business performance.
The interactive session encouraged students to look beyond the conventional aspects of entrepreneurship and recognize logistics as an important component of every successful business venture. Students actively participated in the discussion and gained practical perspectives on the challenges and opportunities in supply chain and operations management.
