Kinnikambla, September 12, 2026: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, in collaboration with Rosa Mystica Pre-University College, Kinnikambla, organised a Drug Awareness Programme on the theme “Towards a Drug-Free Campus” on September 12, 2026, at the college campus.
The programme aimed to create awareness among students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encourage them to make healthy and responsible choices in life. Resource Person Mrs. Lydia Lobo, Administrator of Link Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts, Bajal, Mangaluru, interacted with the students and shared valuable insights on addiction, its consequences and the importance of staying away from harmful substances.
The session emphasised the need for a healthy lifestyle, positive choices and a supportive educational environment. Students and staff members of both institutions actively participated in the programme.
The initiative served as a meaningful effort towards promoting awareness among young people and encouraging collective responsibility in building a healthier and drug-free society. The programme concluded with the message of working together towards a safe, healthy and drug-free future.
