Mangaluru, September 4, 2026: As part of their Boot Camp Task, students of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, successfully conducted a Waste Awareness Programme on September 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the surroundings of the Mahakali Navadurgambika Bhakth Vrundha Temple at Malemar.
The programme was organised in collaboration with Sri Mahakali Navadurgambika Bhakth Vrundha (Registered) with the objective of creating awareness among the local people about the harmful effects of indiscriminate waste disposal and the importance of maintaining cleanliness around the temple premises.
During the programme, the Swastika students interacted with people in the surrounding area and highlighted the need for proper waste disposal, responsible civic behaviour, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. Special emphasis was placed on avoiding the dumping of waste near the temple and protecting the cleanliness and sanctity of the surroundings.
The initiative provided the students with an opportunity to apply their learning beyond the classroom while contributing to the community through a meaningful social-awareness activity.
The programme concluded with a strong message: “Keep the Temple Clean, Keep Our Surroundings Green.”
