Mangaluru, September 28, 2026: New Mangala College of Nursing and Mangala School of Nursing, Mangaluru, organised an Orientation and Course Inauguration Programme for the 14th Batch of B.Sc. Nursing and 21st Batch of GNM students on September 28, 2026, at Ishavasyam, College Auditorium.
The programme was graced by Prof. Pratijna Suhasini G. R., Dean, MGEI and MCAHS and MCPMS; Prof. Subrahmanya Nayak, Principal, NMCON & MSON; Dr. Bharath K. H., Principal, MCOP; Prof. Geethalakshmi, Vice Principal, MCAHS and MCPMS; Mrs. Kavyashree, Associate Professor and B.Sc. Nursing Class Coordinator; and Ms. Lakshmi Ksoo, Lecturer and GNM Class Coordinator.
The programme formally marked the beginning of the students’ nursing education. The orientation familiarised the students with the institution, academic environment, professional expectations, discipline and responsibilities associated with the nursing profession.
The students were encouraged to pursue their education with dedication, compassion, professionalism and a positive attitude. The programme provided a warm and meaningful beginning to their academic journey and future professional careers in nursing.
