Kurnad, 17 July 2026: Government PU College, Kurnad, inaugurated its Skill Club under the initiative of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru. The Skill Club was launched for Science and Commerce students with the objective of equipping them with essential life and employability skills.
Prof. Mohan Singhe, Department of Social Work, Mangalore University, inaugurated the Skill Club and addressed the gathering as the chief guest. Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, conducted an engaging training session on “Time Management,” highlighting the importance of planning, prioritizing tasks, and managing time effectively for academic and personal success.
The programme was presided over by Dr. Latha G.S., In-charge Principal of Government PU College, Kurnad. Dr. Malini N. Hebbar, Principal, Swastika National Business School, Mrs. Niveditha Harish, Coordinator, Skill Club, Swastika National Business School, and Dr. Ashwin Thejasvi, Coordinator, Skill Club, Government PU College, were present on the occasion.
The interactive session received enthusiastic participation from the students, making the programme informative and inspiring while marking the beginning of a series of skill development initiatives at the institution.
