The Student Forum and NSS Unit of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, successfully organized a Clean-Up Drive at Urwastore Surroundings and Junction on April 2, 2026. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and social responsibility among students and the local community, reflecting the core values of NSS activities focused on community service and environmental awareness. More than 150 students actively participated in the drive, showcasing strong unity and commitment towards the cause.

The programme was inaugurated by Ranjan Bellarpady, Chief Coordinator of Swachh Mangaluru Abhiyan, Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, who emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces. Students actively engaged in cleaning the surroundings, collecting waste, and spreading awareness among the public about the need for a clean and healthy environment. The programme began with a warm welcome and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Muliya Sathwik.

The drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and students, making it a meaningful and impactful initiative. Chairman Dr. Raghavendra Holla, Trustee Mrs. Sumana Polali, NSS Coordinator Mrs. Vidhyalaxmi P. Shetty, NSS Secretaries Preetham, Nishmitha, Channabasava, and Anushka, along with Student Forum Vice President Ms. Sinchana and Secretary Ms. Sindhu were present. The initiative also reflected a key manifesto commitment of Student Forum President Muliya Sathwik, emphasizing active community service and social responsibility.
