Mangaluru, September 19, 2026: The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Swastika National Business School, in collaboration with Samprabhav Foundation, Mangaluru, organized a Beach Cleanup Drive at Ullal Beach on Saturday morning.
The programme commenced at 7:30 AM with the participation of NSS volunteers, faculty members and management representatives. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness, responsible waste disposal and environmental awareness among students and the wider community.
Volunteers actively participated in collecting waste from the beach and spreading awareness about the importance of protecting coastal ecosystems. The programme also encouraged students to contribute towards sustainable and responsible community practices.
The drive was held in the context of Swachh Sagar, Surakshit Sagar 5.0, the nationwide coastal-cleanup campaign running through September 19, 2026.
