Mangalore, 24 September 2025: The Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Local Branch Mangalore, in association with Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore, observed World Pharmacist Day at Srinivas College of Pharmacy Mangalore. The event was a grand success, bringing together pharmacy students, teaching, and non-teaching faculties to celebrate the contributions of pharmacists in the healthcare system.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. A R Shabaraya, Principal and Director of Srinivas College of Pharmacy, who presided over the function. He highlighted the significance of World Pharmacist Day and set the tone for the event. Dr. Krishnananda Kamath, Program Coordinator, introduced the guests, setting the stage for the chief guest’s address.
The chief guest, Dr. Mohammed Nasiruddeen Inamdar, Principal of East West College of Pharmacy, Bangalore, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasizing the crucial role pharmacists play in healthcare. Dr. Kumara Prasad S A, Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis and Vice President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association Local Branch Mangalore, proposed the vote of thanks. He expressed gratitude to the IPA, dignitaries, and participants, acknowledging their contributions to the event’s success.
