Mangalore, 13 September 2025: The festival of Onam, celebrated as “THIRUVONAM”, was joyfully observed at Narayana Guru First Grade College, Kudroli, Mangalore, on 13th September 2025 in the Damodhar R. Suvarna Auditorium. The event reflected the rich cultural heritage and unity among students.
The celebration commenced with a traditional procession, symbolizing the festive spirit of Onam. The formal function began with Mrs. Sowmya Shetty, Principal and President of the event, inaugurating the celebration and addressing the gathering with inspiring words on cultural harmony and togetherness.
The programme was gracefully compered by Mamatha of II B.A. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Mokshitha of III B.Com, and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Ashwija of III B.Com, expressing gratitude to all contributors and participants.The event featured a variety of cultural performances, including traditional songs, dances, and skits that showcased the vibrancy of Onam.
