Mangaluru, September 18, 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, affiliated to Mangalore University, in association with DKZP Government Higher Primary School Tharikariya, organized a community outreach programme titled Shine & Sustain on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Nayana, III BSW student of Swastika National Business School, who engaged the school children with an interactive session on sustainability practices, cleanliness, and responsible living. Through simple activities and relatable examples, she encouraged students to adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives and become ambassadors of positive change in their community.
The programme was successfully coordinated by Mr. Shashikanth, III BSW student, under the guidance of the Social Work Forum of Swastika National Business School. Teachers and students of DKZP Govt HPS, Tharikariya, actively participated, making the event lively and impactful.
This initiative reflected the institution’s commitment to bridging classroom learning with community service, empowering BSW students to apply their knowledge for social betterment.
