Mangalore, 1st October 2024 : Swastika National Business School, Mangalore, in collaboration with Government PU College, Kavoor, Rotary Mangalore Downtown (RI District 3181), and Lions Club Kudremukh (Region 01, Zone-3), successfully conducted SAMVEDA #18, a one-day free workshop on Leadership Mastery for pre-university students. The event was held at Government PU College, Kavoor, Mangalore, and saw an enthusiastic response from the students.
The workshop was inaugurated by Rtn Sathyajeeth Rao, President Elect of Rotary Mangalore Downtown. The event was further graced by Mr. Subhash, Secretary of Lions Club Kudremukh, Mr. Prakash, Member of Government PU College Development Committee, and Rtn Neriya Suraj Hebbar, Member of Rotary Mangalore Downtown, who also participated as dignitaries.
The Chief Guests for the event were Mr. Taranath Kulai, LCIF Coordinator, Lions Club, and Mrs. Mamatha A., Principal of Government PU College, Kavoor, Mangalore. Both expressed their thoughts on the importance of leadership skills in shaping the future of young minds.
The resource persons, Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School and National Trainer at JCI India, along with Ms. Pooja Rao, Zone Trainer at JCI India and Lecturer at Swastika National Business School, led insightful sessions. They covered key aspects of leadership, communication, and self-development, motivating students to take on leadership roles in their academic and personal lives.
In his address, Dr. Holla highlighted, “Leadership is not just about leading others, but also about leading oneself. It begins with self-awareness and culminates in influencing positive change around us.” Ms. Pooja Rao engaged the students with interactive activities aimed at boosting their confidence and decision-making skills.
The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks, extending gratitude to the partners, including Rotary Mangalore Downtown and Lions Club Kudremukh, for their support and participation. The event fostered a spirit of learning and inspiration, leaving students equipped with practical leadership tools to apply in their daily lives.
