Mangaluru, 31 July 2025: Swastika National Business School (SNBS), in association with Rotary Mangalore Downtown and the Commerce Club of Government Pre-University College, Hampankatta, successfully hosted the 22nd edition of the Samveda Workshop Series on July 31, 2025. The workshop, themed “Empowering Self Through Team,” aimed to nurture students’ leadership abilities and interpersonal skills through the power of collaboration.
The event was inaugurated by Rtn Sathyajith S Rao, President of Rotary Mangalore Downtown, who emphasized the importance of teamwork in shaping responsible and empowered citizens. In his presidential address, Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, and keynote speaker of the day, motivated students to embrace self-development through team-driven learning and action. His message focused on the relevance of synergy, adaptability, and leadership in today’s dynamic academic and career environments.
The workshop featured insightful sessions by experienced resource persons, Mrs. Preethi Shettigar, Life Skill Trainer and Assistant Professor at SNBS, Ms. Deeksha Devadiga, Lecturer at SNBS and Ms. Ashwini Meti, Manager, Swastika Accounts Management and Marketing, who shared practical insights on managing team dynamics and achieving common goals.
The program saw active participation from students of Government PU College, Hampankatta, and was coordinated effectively by Mrs. Mallika M, Commerce Club Coordinator. The event was presided over by Mr. Vincent Antony Mascarenhas, Principal, Government PU College, Hampankatta.
The Samveda series continues to inspire young minds with its commitment to holistic student development, combining education with values of leadership, collaboration, and lifelong learning.
