Mangaluru, 7 September 2025: The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karnataka – Rovers Crew and Rangers Team of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, successfully organized a two-day residential camp on September 6 and 7, 2025, at Swastika WaterFront, Sulthan Bathery, Mangaluru.

The camp was inaugurated by Mr. Srinivas Poojary, Assistant District Commissioner, Bharath Scouts and Guides, Dakshina Kannada, and Vice President, Dakshina Kannada Scouts and Guides District Association.
In his address, he highlighted the significance of Scouting and Guiding in instilling discipline, leadership, and community service among youth.

Mr. Bharathraj K, Assistant State Organising Commissioner, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Dakshina Kannada District, graced the event as the Guest of Honor. He appreciated the initiative of Swastika National Business School in nurturing responsible citizens through such camps.
The inaugural program was presided over by Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, who, in his presidential address, encouraged students to embrace values of teamwork and self-reliance.
The event also witnessed the active involvement of Mrs. Preethi Shettigar (Ranger Leader), Mr. Prathim Kumar (Rover Scout Leader), and Mrs. Poornima Naveen (Assistant Ranger Leader), who guided the participants throughout the camp.

The camp featured a series of activities, including leadership sessions, group tasks, adventure exercises, and discussions on social responsibility. The Rovers and Rangers, along with faculty members and students, enthusiastically participated, making the camp an enriching experience.
The two-day residential camp not only strengthened the bonds among students but also emphasized the values of discipline, unity, and service – the essence of the Scouts and Guides movement.
