Mangalore, September 25, 2024: The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Swastika National Business School, in association with JCI Mangalore Samrat, organized a successful sampling plantation drive along the St. Ann’s Street to Sasihithlu waterfront on September 25, 2024, commemorating NSS Day.
Over 50 samplings were planted in the area, with students approaching residents and requesting their participation in the initiative. The students not only planted the samplings but also educated the locals on the importance of tree conservation and environmental sustainability.
The drive aimed to promote environmental awareness and responsibility, encourage community participation in tree plantation and contribute to the city’s green cover. This drive resulted in plantation of over 50 samplings which enhanced community awareness on environmental conservation thus Contributed to Mangalore’s ecological balance
