Mangaluru, 14 November 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, organized an engaging session titled “Unlock the Leader Within”. The session was delivered by Mr. Dawn Prakash, Assistant Professor and Corporate Trainer from SDM Mangalore. Students, faculty members and the management team attended the event with great enthusiasm.
The program began with a warm welcome, followed by Mr. Dawn Prakash introducing himself and giving an overview of what the session would cover. His opening remarks set the tone for a thoughtful and interactive workshop on leadership and personal growth.
The session continued with a talk by Dr. Jomon Lonappan, who guided students on the various paths available after completing BCom and BBA. He highlighted the importance of higher education and explained how programs like MCom and MBA play a key role in career development and specialization.
Mr. Dawn Prakash then resumed the session with an insightful discussion on leadership. He explained how leadership opportunities appear in different parts of life, including personal life, college activities and social interactions. He helped students reflect on decision-making by encouraging them to identify what makes them happy and what they are naturally good at.
The interactive part of the workshop included a group activity, where students were divided into teams of five for a word search challenge. This created an energetic environment and encouraged teamwork. A quiz was conducted and certificates were presented to the winners.
Before concluding, Mr. Dawn Prakash shared valuable information about activities, scholarship options and internship opportunities available at SDM College, giving students a clear picture of how they can make use of such platforms.The event ended on a cheerful note with a group photo, capturing the enthusiasm and learning spirit of the day.
