Mangaluru, July 25, 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru (affiliated to Mangalore University), successfully organized an insightful industrial visit to KMF Nandini – Dakshina Kannada District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Societies’ Union Limited, on Friday, July 25, 2025. The visit was a part of the institution’s practical learning initiative, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure.

Students from the management and social work streams actively participated in the visit, gaining firsthand exposure to the functioning of a large-scale cooperative dairy industry. The team explored various facets of the milk production and processing chain, including procurement, pasteurization, packaging, quality control, and logistics.

The industrial visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial practices. It also served as a valuable platform for students to understand cooperative business models, supply chain management, and quality assurance mechanisms in the dairy sector.
