Puttur, 26 July 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, affiliated with Mangalore University, successfully organized an educational industrial visit to the renowned Campco Chocolate Factory, Puttur, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 2:00 PM. The visit was a part of the institution’s commitment to experiential learning and fostering industry-academia interaction in alignment with UN Sustainable Development Goal 9 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
A group of enthusiastic students, accompanied by faculty members, had the unique opportunity to explore the end-to-end chocolate manufacturing process at one of India’s leading cooperative ventures. The visit offered practical exposure to the techniques of chocolate production, packaging, quality control, and supply chain management.
The students were warmly welcomed by the Campco team and guided through various departments of the factory. They witnessed firsthand the transformation of cocoa beans into delicious chocolate products, gaining valuable insights into automation, hygiene standards, and sustainability practices in food processing.
The visit concluded with an interactive session where students posed questions to the Campco team and expressed gratitude for the informative experience.
