Mangalore, September 16, 2024 : Swastika National Business School (SNBS) successfully inaugurated its much-anticipated two-day residential workshop, “The Pitch Perfect Bootcamp,” focused on mastering the art of sales. Held at Scouts Bhavana, Pilikula, Vamanjoor, the bootcamp is designed to provide students and professionals with actionable insights and skills to excel in sales.
The event commenced with the gracious presence of Sri Krishna J. Palemar, Former Minister, Government of Karnataka, and MD of Landlinks, Mangalore, who attended as the Chief Guest. He emphasized the significance of sales expertise in today’s dynamic business landscape and the importance of experiential learning for budding entrepreneurs.
The bootcamp was inaugurated by Mr. V. Suryanarayana, Chief Executive Officer of Mangalore SEZ Ltd., who shed light on the evolving trends in the sales industry and the need for young professionals to adapt to the changing market dynamics.
The Guest of Honour, Dr. Sr. Sadhana B S, Principal of Rosa Mystica PU College, Vamanjoor, highlighted the importance of practical knowledge in complementing academic excellence.
A special highlight of the event was the presentation of the Swastika Udyama Rathna 2024 Award to Sri Prakash Rao Kalbhavi, Proprietor of Kalbavi Consumer Foods Pvt. Ltd., for his remarkable contributions to the business community and his inspirational journey in entrepreneurship.
In addition, the event marked the launch of a new business venture by Ms. Acquilla Rishal Vas, a student of Swastika National Business School. Her venture, “The Golden Drops Coconut Oil,” showcases the entrepreneurial spirit fostered by SNBS, empowering students to turn their innovative ideas into thriving businesses.
The bootcamp is being facilitated by two distinguished trainers, Mrs. Sandhya Varma, ACC-ICF Certified Life Coach, and Mr. Rakesh Nair, Corporate Trainer, both co-founders of Skill Quest, who are renowned for their dynamic and engaging coaching styles. Over the course of two days, participants will immerse themselves in interactive sessions designed to hone their sales skills, including workshops, role-playing exercises, and case study discussions.
Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, in his address, reiterated the institution’s commitment to providing hands-on learning experiences that empower students with skills that go beyond the classroom.
