Mangaluru, 10 September 2025: The Student Council Inauguration of Narayana Guru First Grade College, Kudroli was held at the Damodara R. Suvarna Auditorium within the college premises. The event was organized with great enthusiasm and witnessed the active participation of Management, students and faculty members.
The program commenced with the invocation song by the college choir, followed by a welcome speech delivered by the Student welfare ofgicer Mr. Kishore. S who highlighted the significance of the Student Council in fostering leadership, discipline, and responsibility among students.
The event was graced by eminent personalities, including the Principal Mrs. Sowmya Shetty who in her address emphasized the importance of youth participation in academic and social activities. He encouraged students to take on leadership roles with dedication and integrity, reminding them of their duty to contribute positively to society.
The formal inauguration of the Student Council was conducted through the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing wisdom and knowledge. The newly elected Student Council members were then introduced and took an oath to perform their duties sincerely and to uphold the values of the institution.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Ashwija 3rd bcom, expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, and students for making the event successful. The program concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
