Mangaluru, 18 December 2025:The NSS unit of Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, organized a Community Outreach Programme on the theme “Gender Equality” at St. Peter Aided Higher Primary School, Kottara, on December 18, 2025, from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM.
The session aimed to create awareness among school students about the importance of gender equality, mutual respect, and equal opportunities for all. The resource persons, Shamith and Preetham, delivered an engaging and age-appropriate session, explaining the concept of gender equality through simple examples, interactive discussions, and relatable scenarios.
Students participated actively in the programme and showed keen interest in understanding values such as fairness, respect, and inclusiveness. The session helped instill positive attitudes and encouraged students to practice equality in their daily lives, both at school and at home.
The programme was efficiently organized by Nishmitha, Krithika, and Aman, NSS volunteers of Swastika National Business School. The outreach initiative reflected the institution’s commitment to social responsibility, value-based education, and community engagement through its NSS activities.
