Mangaluru, November 12, 2025: The Department of Social Work of Swastika National Business School organized a Community Outreach Programme at St. Joseph Higher Primary School, Mangaluru, in association with St. Joseph Higher Primary School and Lions Club Mangalore Netravathi.
The session, titled “Safe Steps,” was conducted for students of Class 6 and 7 with the objective of creating awareness about personal safety and responsible behavior among young learners.

Shashikanth, a student of III BSW, Swastika National Business School, led the session, engaging the students through interactive discussions and activities focused on building awareness about safety measures, understanding boundaries, and making informed decisions in everyday situations.
The program was well-received by the students and faculty of St. Joseph Higher Primary School. The initiative reflected the institution’s commitment to community engagement and holistic education through its ‘Earn While You Learn’ and ‘Social Responsibility in Action’ initiatives.
The Community Outreach Programme is part of Swastika National Business School’s ongoing efforts to instill values of social responsibility, empathy, and active citizenship among its students.
