Mangalore, 12 November 2025: A Community Outreach Programme on First Aid First was conducted at St. Joseph Higher Primary School, Mangaluru. The session was organized by Swastika National Business School in association with St. Joseph Higher Primary School and Lions Club Mangaluru, Netravathi.
The resource person for the programme was Ms. Mrudula J., III BSW student and Soft Skill Trainer from Swastika National Business School. The session was specially organized for the students of 6th and 7th standard to equip them with essential first aid knowledge and practical skills.
Ms. Mrudula explained the basics of first aid, including handling minor injuries, cuts, burns, nosebleeds, and emergency situations. Students actively participated and learned how to respond responsibly and calmly during accidents.
She also demonstrated simple first aid techniques that children can safely apply when immediate help is needed. The interactive approach helped students understand the importance of safety, presence of mind, and timely action.
The programme was successfully organized by Mr. Shashikanth, III BSW, under the guidance of the faculty of Swastika National Business School.
