Belthangady, August 14, 2024 : Sri Gurudeva PU College proudly announces the inauguration of the Rovers and Rangers Bangera Unit, marking a significant milestone in the college’s commitment to student development and community engagement.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by esteemed guests and dignitaries. Mr. Bharath Raj K, the Assistant Scout Commissioner of Dakshina Kannada, served as the chief inaugurator. Mrs. Pramila, Secretary of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Local Association, Belthangady, was the honored guest. The event was presided over by Smt. Prithitha Vijeth, a distinguished member of the Sri Gurudeva Educational Trust.
Dr. Savitha, Principal of Sri Gurudeva First Grade College, Belthangady, along with Mr. Sukesh Kumar K, Principal of Sri Gurudeva PU College, Belthangady, and Mr. B.R.A Shameulla, Vice Principal of Sri Gurudeva PU College, Belthangady, also lent their support and presence to this momentous occasion.
Key leaders of the newly formed unit include Shubhalaxmi, the Ranger Leader, and Rakesh Kumar, the Rover Scout Leader. The Rovers and Rangers team, comprising Rachan, a dedicated Rover, and Raashi, an enthusiastic Ranger, promises to lead by example in their service to the community.
