Mangaluru, February 11, 2026: The inauguration of “Samvaad Vedika”, The Debate Association of Swastika National Business School was held grandly at Swastika Waterfront, followed by the Student Forum Parliament Session. The initiative was organized to promote debate culture, democratic values, and parliamentary awareness among students. The program witnessed active participation from students, faculty, and members of the Student Forum, marking a significant academic and leadership-oriented platform on campus.
The program was inaugurated by Mr. J. R. Lobo, Former MLA, who delivered an impactful inaugural address. He emphasized that every youth should know about politics and understand democratic governance, public administration, and policy-making. He encouraged students to develop political awareness and leadership qualities to become responsible citizens of the nation.
Guest of Honor Mr. Nandan Mallya, President, Bharathiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) DK District, addressed the gathering and inspired students with his motivating message. He stated that students play the most important role in nation building and urged the youth to actively contribute toward national development with commitment and social responsibility.
The event was presided over by Chairman Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, who delivered the Presidential Address, in the presence of Principal Dr. Malini N. Hebbar. Muliya Sathwik, President, Student Forum, in his presence note, stated that the culture of debate should exist in everyone and that students must show interest in participating and expressing their views. All the dignitaries and speakers collectively praised Muliya Sathwik for his initiative in establishing the Debate Association and organizing the Student Forum Parliament Session, appreciating his leadership and vision for student empowerment.
