Mangaluru, 17 October 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru, in association with the Rovers Crew and Rangers Team and the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit, organized SDG Connect. The event aimed to educate, engage, and empower students on the significance of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and their role in shaping a better world.
Mrs. Preethi Shettigar, SDG Coordinator of Swastika National Business School, served as the resource person for the session. Through her insightful presentation, she highlighted the importance of aligning academic and community initiatives with the global goals and motivated students to take up meaningful projects contributing to sustainability and social responsibility.
Mrs. Poornima Naveen, Secretary of the SDG Club, effectively anchored the event and ensured its smooth conduct. The session witnessed active participation from students and faculty members, who engaged in interactive discussions and shared their perspectives on achieving sustainable development through collective effort.
The program concluded with an open discussion emphasizing the institution’s continued commitment to fostering awareness and action toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
