Mangalore, 15 April 2025: P.A First Grade College in association with IQAC inaugraded the Counselling cell “Samvedana” at Multipurpose Hall . The Counselling cell was inaugerated by the Chief Guest , Mr.Lalith Prasad Rai, Head BPM ,Infosys Ltd. Mangalore symbolically by waterring the plant and by releasing the counselling cell poster .Mr.Lalith Rai addressed the students the need of the cell and issues to connect .
The Guest of honour Ms.Nanda Devi , Manager ISDC shared her experiences and guided students to approach the Counselling team .
The Guest of honour Dr.Sharmila Kumari , Vice Principal & HOD Dept of Computer Science and Engineering stressed on why Counselling is important with some live cases of students during her talk. Dr.sayyed Ameen gave an insight on why Counselling is essential as a part of life on order to cope up with challenges. Dr.Surfraz J.Hasim , Principal PAFGC in his presidential remarks elaborated how to make use of the Counselling cell to overcome their Academic or personal problems.
During the session Ms.Deepti Udyavar read the preamble of the Counselling cell. Dr.G HariKrishnan , Vice Principal, PAFGC. Ms.Vanishree Y, IQAC Coordinator, Ms.Ithashree , members of the Counselling team were present during the program.
