Mangaluru, December 4, 2025: Swastika National Business School, in association with Rotary Mangalore Downtown, successfully organised Samveda #40, a student enrichment workshop on Effective Public Speaking at Swastika Waterfront, Sulthan Bathery, Mangaluru. The programme aimed at empowering students with essential communication and presentation skills that are crucial for academic and professional excellence.
The event featured Dr. Naveen Shetty K, President of DK District Pre-University Colleges Principals’ Association, as the Chief Guest. The workshop was formally inaugurated by Rtn. Sathyajith S Rao, President of Rotary Mangalore Downtown, who highlighted the importance of communication skills in shaping future leaders. The programme was presided over by Dr. Malini N Hebbar, Principal of Swastika National Business School, who emphasized the institution’s commitment to holistic student development.
The technical sessions were facilitated by expert trainers — Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Mrs. Preethi Shettigar, and Ms. Deeksha Devadiga. Their engaging sessions covered core components of effective public speaking, including confidence-building, body language, articulation, stage presence, and overcoming speech anxiety. Students actively participated in interactive activities, practice speeches, and real-time feedback exercises.
