Moodubidre, 13 June 2025: A Fire Safety, Health Safety, and Disaster Management Awareness Program was successfully conducted at Rotary Pre-University College, Moodubidre. The program was led by Mr. Sathyaraj, a professional freelance Fire & Safety Officer based in Mangalore, who voluntarily initiated the session as part of his commitment to public safety education.
The program aimed to educate students and staff about essential safety measures, emergency response techniques, and disaster management. Mr. Sathyaraj delivered a detailed and interactive presentation covering key topics such as fire prevention, safe evacuation procedures, first aid basics, and handling fire-fighting equipment.
The event witnessed active participation from students and staff, who appreciated the practical insights and hands-on learning.
The college premises provided a suitable platform for such an initiative.
Mr. Sathyaraj has conducted several similar programs across educational institutions and organizations in the region. “Awareness is the first step toward safety. My goal is to ensure every individual is prepared to act effectively in any emergency,” he said.
The awareness program was graced by the presence of the Principal, Mr. Ravikumar, and the esteemed faculty members of the college.
