Mangalore, September 4, 2024 – The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), in association with the Department of Food Sciences and the Nutritionora Association, organized a quiz competition to commemorate National Nutrition Week. The event, themed “Food and Nutrition,” aimed to assess students’ understanding of various topics related to food and nutrition.
Held in Seminar Hall 1 at 3:00 PM, the competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across diverse departments, demonstrating their keen interest and knowledge in this field. The event was expertly coordinated by Ms. Saniya M., Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Sciences.
Through this initiative, the institution emphasized the significance of nutrition and successfully raised awareness among participants about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The quiz competition served as an engaging platform for students to deepen their understanding of food and nutrition, fostering a culture of learning and awareness.
