Mangalore, August 10, 2024 : Ladyhill Victoria Girls’ Composite P.U. College embarked on an exciting journey with “Let’s Get Quizzical,” a quiz competition aligning with the college’s motto, “Through Effort to Glory.” The event aimed to promote overall student growth, awareness, and curiosity.
The quiz competition, saw enthusiastic participation from 47 teams, each consisting of two students. The top five teams progressed to the finals, which featured five rounds: Multiple Choice, Audio and Visual, Clue Cluster, and Rapid Fire. The questions focused on trivia and general knowledge.
Mrs. Seema Sheikh, Lecturer in charge, expertly managed the quiz, while the Student Council and technical team, comprising Hasna, Khadija Suhaf, and Raliya Fathima, ensured seamless execution.
The winners were Sara Munazzah and Zainaba Muzna of 1st Science, followed by Panchami Shenoy and Pavithra of 2nd Science as the first runner-up, and Bhavyashree and Rakshitha of 2nd Commerce as the second runner-up.
The event’s success was attributed to the active participation of team members and the audience. The college’s mission is to instill a passion for quizzing in students, fostering a culture of curiosity and learning.
