Belthangady, August 6, 2024 : Quatrix-2k24, an IT fest organized by the IT Club of the Computer Science Department at Pre University College, took place on tuesday. In the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Govinda Prakash, Dean of Philomena College, Puttur, emphasized the importance of embracing change in science and technology to move forward. He noted that failing to adapt to technological advancements can lead to being left behind. He also stressed the need for everyone to acquire computer knowledge, as most studies and work rely on computers in modern times.
The program was presided over by Principal Mr. Yadupathi Gowda, with Mr. Prasad Kumar, Administrative Officer of the Institute, Mr. Vishnu Prakash, Vice Principal of the College, and Mr. Pawan Raj, President of the IT Club, in attendance.
The IT fest featured various competitions, including IT Quiz, Coding, IT Manager, and Ice Breaker. Winners were honored with trophies.
