Mangalore, 13 November 2025: A talk on Eco Equity was conducted today at Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath Higher Primary School, Pudhu Mapila, Farangipete. The session was led by Ms. Geetha, BSW 2nd year student of Swastika National Business School, and was organized by Mr. Gagan K. N, BSW 2nd year.
The programme began with a prayer by the school students, setting a thoughtful start to the session. The resource person, Ms. Geetha, explained the concept of eco equity and emphasized the importance of caring for nature and sharing its resources fairly. Students were sensitized about conserving trees, water, and energy, and were encouraged to adopt simple practices that contribute to environmental protection.

An interactive discussion was held on ways to maintain cleanliness in the school surroundings and promote a greener environment. Teachers motivated the students to begin eco-friendly habits both at home and in school, reinforcing the message of collective responsibility towards nature.
A total of 25 children and staff members participated in the programme. The session concluded with a vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of an impactful and meaningful event.
