Padua, 24 September 2025: Padua College Hosts Peacathon Rally to Promote Peace and Harmony, Padua College organized a Peacathon Rally with the noble intention of preserving peace and harmony in society. The rally began at 11:00 a.m., starting from Nantoor, proceeding towards Kadri, and finally returning to the college. Students, staff, and well-wishers joined hands in large numbers, walking with a shared message of unity, non-violence, and responsible citizenship.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Fransis Maxim Moras, Senior Traffic Warden, who flagged off the rally. In his inaugural address, he highlighted the importance of peace in everyday life and stressed that discipline and respect on the roads are essential for a harmonious community. His inspiring words encouraged students to uphold these values in their daily lives and to become true ambassadors of peace.
Participants of the rally carried banners and placards with meaningful slogans on peace, love, and mutual respect. Their energetic yet orderly march attracted attention across the route, inspiring onlookers to reflect on the significance of peaceful coexistence. The presence of the Nantoor Traffic Police further emphasized the link between peace, order, and public safety.
