Mangalore, September 15, 2024 : PA First Grade College, Nadupadavu, proudly participated in a human chain event organized by the Government of Karnataka to commemorate the International Day of Democracy. The event aimed to promote democratic values, raise awareness about democratic principles, and foster a sense of civic responsibility among citizens.
Led by Principal Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, the college’s faculty and students joined hands with the community to form a human chain, symbolizing unity and solidarity in upholding democratic ideals. Faculty members Mr. Lohith (Dept. of Humanities and Social Sciences), Mr. Sajir, and Mr. Asham (Dept. of Commerce and Management) actively participated in the event.
The program culminated with a patriotic display, as participants chanted “Jai Hind” and “Jai Karnataka,” reaffirming their commitment to democratic principles and values.
