Mangaluru, 20 March 2025: The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in association with the Entrepreneurship Development Cell of [College/University Name] organized an invited talk on “From College Hallways to Business Highways: My Unexpected Journey” in two sessions.
The event, held on March 20, 2025, featured a keynote address by Mr. Abdul Sathar Thattayil, Chairman and Managing Director of JBS Middle East. Mr. Thattayil shared his inspiring journey, from his college days to becoming a successful entrepreneur, highlighting the pivotal moments that shaped his career.
The morning session was attended by students from Final B. Com, BCA, and FND, while the afternoon session was attended by Final year BBA ‘A’ & ‘B’ and Second B. Com students. The event was also graced by Dr. Surfaraz J Hasim, Principal, Dr. Harikrishnan, Vice Principal, Ms. Vanishree Y, IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Deepthi Udyavar, HOD, Department of Commerce and Management, and Ms. Krithika, Coordinator-EDC.
Dr. Surfaraz J Hasim, Principal, delivered the presidential remark, and Fouza Fathima from Ist BCA proposed the vote of thanks.
The event aimed to inspire and motivate students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams, and it successfully achieved its objective by providing a platform for students to interact with a successful entrepreneur.
