Mangalore, September 12, 2024 : The Onam Pookkalam competition, organized by the Fine Arts Association, was held on September 12, 2024, at the Activity Centre. The event witnessed fervent participation from students, who formed 13 teams representing their respective classes. Each team comprised 5-8 members.
Within the stipulated 2-hour time frame, students showcased their creativity and skill in designing intricate Pookkalams using natural flowers and leaves, adhering to the traditional values of Onam. The competition featured an impressive display of innovative designs, exceptional creativity, and attention to detail.
Winners of the competition were, First Prize: 1st BBA-B, Second Prize: 1st BCom and the Third Prize: 1st BCA
