Mangaluru, December 15, 2025: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru (affiliated to Mangalore University), through its National Service Scheme (NSS) unit, organized a Community Outreach Programme on Beach Clean-Up at Baikampadi Beach, in association with Navajyoti Yuvaka Vrindha Sanga, Baikampadi. The programme was conducted as part of environmental action initiatives aligned with SDG 13.

The clean-up drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and volunteers who actively engaged in removing plastic waste and other debris from the beach area, spreading awareness on the importance of environmental conservation and cleanliness. The initiative aimed to instill a sense of social responsibility and environmental stewardship among youth and the local community.
The programme was organized by Niv Kumar, along with Gagan Chand, Dhishank, Meghana, and Prajna. They were supported by volunteers Diljit S.M, Monisha, Pushpesh, Gautham, Sinchana, and Bhavana, whose collective efforts ensured the successful execution of the drive.
The beach clean-up programme reinforced Swastika National Business School’s commitment to community service, sustainability, and active student participation in nation-building activities through NSS.
