Mangaluru, December 16, 2026: Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru (affiliated to Mangalore University), organized an NSS Community Outreach Programme – Beach Clean-Up Drive as part of SDG 13: Climate Action on December 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
The initiative aimed to promote environmental responsibility and create awareness about the impact of pollution on marine ecosystems. NSS volunteers actively participated in cleaning the beach area, collecting plastic waste and other non-biodegradable materials, and spreading awareness on the importance of maintaining clean and sustainable coastal environments.
The programme was organized by Ashish, Jaison, Prathiksha, Sanika, Vinish, Sujan, Paranmya, Jagadeesh, Manya, and Pooja, whose coordinated efforts ensured the smooth execution of the activity. The drive highlighted the role of youth in combating climate change and protecting natural resources.
The beach clean-up drive reinforced Swastika National Business School’s commitment to community service, environmental conservation, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
