Mangalore: The Mangalore University Inter-Collegiate Men’s Volleyball Tournament at both Mangalore Zone and Inter-Zone levels was held on October 13, 14, and 15 at Sri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara College, Ujire. Nearly 32 college teams participated in the competition.
The Narayana Guru First Grade College, Mangalore team performed exceptionally well, securing the Second Place in the Mangalore Zone Tournament and emerging as the Third Place Winner in the University Inter-Zone Tournament.
In the Mangalore Zone Tournament, Bharath G.N. of III B.Com was awarded the Best All-Rounder, while Karthik G. of II B.A. received the Best Libero award for their outstanding individual performances.The President of Narayana Guru Educational Institutions, Shri Naveen Chandra Suvarna, Principal Smt. Sowmya Shetty, along with the teaching and non-teaching staff and students, congratulated the college volleyball team members and their coach Mr. Vikram H.P. for this remarkable achievement.
