Mangalore, October 9, 2024: Swastika UdyamShala and the Entrepreneurs Club of Swastika National Business School celebrated another milestone with the successful launch of the 13th student startup, myPoojashop.com, founded by Sindhu M. (II B.Com) and Namratha S. (I B.Com). The event was held on October 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Swastika National Business School, marking another achievement in the school’s commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial talent.
The inauguration was graced by Ms. M. Athmika Amin, Director of JV Group, Mangalore, and Chairperson of Young India Mangalore Chapter, who served as the chief guest. In her address, Ms. Amin emphasized the importance of innovation and perseverance in entrepreneurship, commending the students for turning their business idea into reality. She also expressed her admiration for the institution’s continued focus on student-led initiatives.
Namratha S., introduced the new venture, myPoojashop.com, which provides an online platform for purchasing pooja essentials. The business aims to cater to the spiritual needs of the community while promoting a seamless shopping experience.
The event was presided over by Dr. Raghavendra Holla N, Chairman of Swastika National Business School, who encouraged students to leverage entrepreneurial opportunities to build a strong foundation for their future. He also announced the signing of an MOU with Young Indians (YI), aimed at strengthening collaboration and opening up new avenues for students to engage in entrepreneurial activities.
The occasion was further enhanced by the presence of Mr. Durgadas Shetty, Yuva Chair of Young Indians, who congratulated the students and reaffirmed YI’s commitment to supporting young entrepreneurs.
In her closing remarks, Dr. Malini N Hebbar, Principal of Swastika National Business School, praised the entrepreneurial spirit displayed by the students and reiterated the institution’s support for innovative ventures.
