Mangaluru: Ms. Jeevitha D, a student of III BCA at Canara College, has made the institution proud by securing a gold medal in the Individual Kumite (-45 kg category) at the Mangalore University Inter-Collegiate Karate Championship, held at the School of Roshni Nilayam, Mangalore.
In a fierce competition that brought together talented athletes from various colleges across the region, Ms. Jeevitha demonstrated remarkable skill, determination, and discipline, ultimately clinching the top spot in her weight category.
In addition to her individual victory, Ms. Jeevitha has been selected to represent Mangalore University in the South West Zone Karate Championship, as part of the Mangalore University Karate Team.
