Mangalore, 3 November 2025: The Maps Group of Institutions, Mangalore, organized its grand Fine Arts Fest, Kala Sambhrama–Sanskriti 2K25, on Tuesday, 28th October 2025, at the college premises. The event aimed to encourage creativity, showcase student talents, and celebrate the cultural diversity of the institution.
The inaugural ceremony began at 9:00 a.m., presided over by Sri Dinesh Kumar Alva, Chairman of Maps Group of Institutions. The Chief Guest, Ms. Anjana Kamath, an eminent educator and child psychologist, delivered an inspiring speech on the importance of art and culture in shaping young minds. She emphasized how participation in such events builds confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills among students. The ceremony included a lighting of the lamp, welcome dance, and invocation song, followed by addresses from the dignitaries.
Throughout the day, the campus was filled with enthusiasm as students participated in a wide range of fine arts competitions, including singing, dancing, painting, rangoli, and drama. Each event reflected the students’ creativity, dedication, and cultural awareness. The staff coordinators, Ms. Shwetha K and Ms. Gayathri T. Naik, along with student coordinators, Ms. Ananya Suvarna and Ms. Vrisha, ensured smooth organization and active participation.
The valedictory ceremony took place at 4:00 p.m., presided over by Smt. Shruthi Shetty, Principal of Maps College. The Chief Guest, Ms. Aradhana Shenoy, alumni and university first-rank holder in B.Com, motivated students with her words on balancing academics and extracurricular achievements. Prizes and certificates were distributed to winners and participants.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the management, guests, and volunteers. Kala Sambhrama–Sanskriti 2K25 was a memorable and successful celebration that highlighted the artistic excellence and vibrant spirit of the Maps Group of Institutions.
