Mangalore, 9 October 2025: The Language Association and Student Forum of Swastika National Business School organized an Essay Writing Competition, to mark the inauguration of the new Language Association for the academic year 2025-26. The event was held at the Seminar Hall and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across various departments.
The inauguration ceremony was gracefully conducted by Mrs. Poornima Kumari, the Coordinator of the Language Association. The Master of Ceremony for the program was Ms. Missriya, Secretary of the Language Association, who led the event with confidence and clarity.
Ms. Anusha, Secretary of the Language Association, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance and objectives of the Language Association, highlighting its role in enhancing students’ communication skills and promoting multilingual culture on campus.
The rules and regulations for the essay competition were explained by Mr. Muliya Sathwik, President of the Student Forum, who emphasized the value of creative expression and critical thinking among students.
The competition was held in five languages, English, Kannada, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Tulu – on the theme “Education and Innovation: Building Blocks of a Strong India.” The event aimed to encourage linguistic diversity, creativity, and intellectual engagement among the students.
The occasion was graced by Mrs. Vidhyalaxmi P. Shetty, Vice Principal, Mrs. Niveditha Harish, Student Welfare Officer, Mrs. Usha, M.A. Scholar in Tulu, along with Mr. Muliya Sathwik and other dignitaries. Their presence added inspiration and encouragement to the participants.
The event concluded successfully, marking a vibrant beginning for the Language Association 2025-26, setting the tone for a year filled with creativity, learning, and linguistic celebration.
