Mangaluru, 2 October 2025: Government Higher Primary School, Kapikad, celebrated Gandhi Jayanthi with great respect and enthusiasm to honor the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation.
The program began with the offering of floral tributes to Gandhiji’s portrait, followed by students presenting songs and speeches highlighting his ideals of truth, non-violence, and cleanliness. Teachers shared inspirational messages on Gandhiji’s life and urged students to follow his path of simplicity and honesty in their daily lives.
As part of the celebration, a cleanliness drive was also organized on the school campus, reflecting Gandhiji’s vision of Swachh Bharat. Students and staff actively participated in cleaning the surroundings and spreading awareness about hygiene and civic responsibility.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and commitment among students to uphold the values taught by Mahatma Gandhi.
